Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (Bridgeport) assists refugees, and new immigrants in resolving legal, economic, linguistic, and social barriers to become self-sufficient, integrated, contributing community members.  www.cirict.org

High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc. (Old Lyme).  Improves the lives of people with disabilities through the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and related programs.  www.highhopestr.org

INTEMPO (Stamford).  High-quality classical and intercultural music education to help low-income children, mainly from immigrant or first-generation backgrounds build critical emotional, cognitive, and behavioral skills to achieve life success.  www.intempo.org
